For the Snakes & Arrows Live Tour, which served as a dedicated second leg to their massive 2007 run, Rush kept the core structure of the show intact while executing several notable set list refreshes to reward returning fans. While the first set retained the same hilarious Scottish alter-ego opening video, the band swapped out the previous leg's rare deep cuts like "Entre Nous" and "Circumstances" in favor of beloved, heavy-hitting classics such as "Red Barchetta" and "The Trees," alongside the welcome 90s resurrection of "Ghost of a Chance."
Following intermission, audiences were treated to a brand-new comedic video intro titled "What's That Smell?" before the band launched back into their bold, unchanged five-song run of new Snakes & Arrows material. Deep into the second set, the band made another significant swap, completely dropping the rotational slot previously held by "Summertime Blues" and "Distant Early Warning" to make way for the thunderous, crowd-pleasing return of the "2112" ("Overture" and "The Temples of Syrinx") medley. The night then wrapped up with the exact same high-energy encore trio from the first leg, closing out the extended tour with reliable firepower.
